朱冀教授为球探篮球比分,竞彩足球比分“手拉手”项目特聘教授，美国密歇根大学教授，斯坦福大学统计学博士。美国统计学会等多个学会会员，曾获得美国自然科学基金CAREER奖。在JASA等顶级统计学期刊发表学术论文60余篇。同时担任Journal of the American Statistical Association等多个国际著名统计学期刊的副主编。

课程内容

The course will start from the basic principles of machine learning and end with the frontiers in statistical learning and data mining. The lectures will cover a collection of methods that have been developed in recent years in statistical machine learning and data mining. Specifically, the topics will include: k-nearest neighbors, logistic regression, linear discriminant analysis and quadratic discriminant analysis, support vector machines and kernel methods, boosting and random forests. If time allows, clustering including spectral clustering methods, linear and nonlinear dimensionality reduction methods will also be covered.
